In the
tent Friday, August 22, 2008, at Anacortes, WA: The massive yacht (90-ft waterline and
90-foot beam) is expected to be rigged next week. After shakedown in
Washington, expectations are that the serious testing and tuning will
shift to San Francisco Bay, home of Golden Gate Yacht Club. (Update
8/25: Initial testing is now expected to move first to San Diego after
Anacortes, likely seeking lighter conditions best suited to becoming
familiar with the new boat.)
