The 2011-12 America's Cup World
Series Regatta dates are included below, the locations or dates
of some regattas are yet to be announced. Eight ACWS
regattas are expected in each season.
For 2011-12:
Three venues (Cascais, Plymouth, and San Diego) were announced
for 2011 as of June 2, with three more (Newport, Venice, and
Naples) named in late summer, leaving two more events still
expected to be organized during the 2011-12 season.
For 2012-13:
Four of the 2012-13 season events are slated for two regattas in
San Francisco, one in Venice, Italy, and one in Naples, Italy,
with four more venues still to be determined. In June,
2011, the America's Cup Event Authority (ACEA) formally opened a
bidding process for the remaining venues for both seasons.

currently termed "tentative" by race organizers. The
2011-2012 America's Cup World Series dates were announced in
February, 2011, and modified in April. In July 2011, the
Louis Vuitton Cup start date was changed to July 4, 2013 from
July 13, 2013. Dates are subject to change by event
organizers and competitors. Please confirm all dates before
making any travel or business plans.
** Though mentioned in official documents as
recently as late October, 2011, the potential ACWS in
January-February 2012 is unlikely to be held, and the next
regatta following San Diego is expected to be Naples, Italy, in
April, 2012.
